A ring tool is not a tool, but a vehicle that is modified and optimized for racetrack use. Accordingly, it has a very high engine power. Depending on the type of motor sport, a modified vehicle still requires road certification, which is why not all types of conversion are possible. Basically, the modifications always take place depending on the vehicle, the vehicle owner and the track on which the ring tool is to be used. A ring tool usually contains only the absolutely most important components; everything unnecessary is removed from the vehicle.

This is what a ring tool is all about
Ringtools are characterized by their performance and are optimized accordingly. All unnecessary parts and comfort elements have to give way. Usually the interior is "exposed", only lighter racing versions of the most important parts are installed. Weight reduction is an important component in the modification process. The addition of cages or roll bars is also common. After all, the ring tool reaches extremely high speeds, which is why the seat and seat belt are also adjusted. In addition, brakes, tyres and the like are usually upgraded.
The BAR-TEK Ring Tool
We also didn't want to do without the ultimate ring tool and have modified an Audi TT 8N Quattro (2000 model) with 225 hp basis, for example with a Garrett turbocharger. In the following table you will find a list of all parts used in the BAR-TEK ring tool.
