BAR-TEK® high-end stud bolts

The BAR-TEK® high-end stud bolt sets consist of high-strength stud bolts.
A special steel is used boasting a tensile strength of 1,800 N/mm² after being hardened and tempered.
All threads are moulded and not cut. The strength of the tooth flanks can be increased by about 30% through ‘thread rolling’. All BAR-TEK® bolts are supplied with a nickel coating, which protects against corrosion over the long term under the toughest of conditions. Our stud bolts are up to 35% stronger than ARP bolts. Stud bolts from BAR-TEK®: stronger than the strongest

ARP was long considered the manufacturer with the strongest bolts for the cylinder head, engine block and related parts. With our BAR-TEK® stud bolts and cylinder head bolts, we’re upping the ante: we wanted to make stud bolts for motorsport even harder and stronger. That’s why we developed high-end stud bolts that are up to 35% stronger than the bolts from ARP. This ensures extremely high strength which is also perfect for performance boosts with tons of power and high boost pressure.

What makes BAR-TEK® engine bolts ideal for motorsport

If you want to make your engine fit for motorsport, our BAR-TEK® engine bolts are top-of-the-line. We use ultra-pure tool steel to enable the tensile strength of 1,800 N/mm² (270,000 psi). We roll the threads of the bolts instead of cutting them. The tooth flanks thus attain a 30% higher strength than that of other manufacturers. All cylinder head bolts have an Allen key drive the stud bolts are screwed in with. They are also designed such that you can easily reuse them and save money. For example, if you often install racing engines. We have achieved this through a neck cone located on the block side of the bolts. When you tighten the nuts, the bolts are not supported on thread flanks, but instead in the hole of the thread in the engine block. This distributes the forces, going easy on the threads.

Threaded bolts from BAR-TEK®: made for top performance

Like all our products, the BAR-TEK® threaded bolts are designed to deliver maximum performance. We thus choose not only the material and means of production on this basis, but also the treatment. In order to optimally protect the bolts against corrosion, they are therefore given a nickel coating. For us, it also went without saying that all nuts and washers in our sets had to also exhibit high tensile strength. A bag of moly paste is always included for installation. So that you really have everything you need to get started with your racing engine.
