Tuning engine electronics: probes, sensors, spark plugs and more

Engine Electric

When you help your engine achieve top performance with chip tuning, you should also think about tuning the engine electronics. Above a certain power level, the standard electronics are no longer able to control the engine. In our tuning online shop you will find probes, sensors, ignition cables, spark plugs and more - everything your engine electronics need for motorsport. You can rely on BAR-TEK® quality!

Lambda sensors for optimum exhaust gas behaviour

The lambda sensor plays the main role in catalytic exhaust gas purification. But as a wearing part, it can deliver incorrect values over time and thus cause poor exhaust behaviour and engine problems. Here you will find high-quality lambda sensors from Bosch for various engine models such as all VR6, TFSI or G60 engines - quality "made in Germany".

Glass-fibre reinforced ignition cables made of chrome-nickel alloy with silicone coating

If you want to protect your tuned engine from misfiring, damage to the catalytic converter and loss of power, you should also opt for high-quality ignition cables. Because the standard ignition cables are mass-produced items that can quickly become brittle. We rely on glass-fibre reinforced ignition cables from Magnecor, specially developed for motorsport and made of a chrome-nickel alloy with a silicone coating that ensures optimum heat dissipation. All you have to do is replace the stock cables with the ready-to-fit Magnecor ignition cables.

Spark plugs with special heat rating for tuned engines

Reduced engine performance and even engine damage in the piston area: these can be the consequences of worn spark plugs. Especially in motorsport, it is important to change spark plugs regularly to maintain engine performance. In the case of the TFSI engine, you should make absolutely sure that you only install NGK spark plugs, otherwise there is a risk of engine damage. You can also find "colder" spark plugs with a special heat level for other engines, such as the G40 or 1.8T.
