Why the Head Gasket Is so Important

An optimum sealing of the cylinder head guarantees the smooth operation of your engine. In the case of a defect, media such as oil, water and gas can be mixed, leading to significant damage. For example, gas can negatively affect the cooling quite strongly, which results in overheating.  If coolant gets into the oil, the lubricating properties of the oil are affected. This is why you should always replace a defective Audi cylinder head gasket with a premium-quality part. In our shop, you get cylinder head gaskets for many Audi engines:
